Games

Our Indoor & Outdoor Games consist of Ping Pong, Darts, Pool table as well as Social games. These are Free for both our lodges & Day guests.
Football / 6-a-Side, Tennis Volley, Croquet, Pétanque is available to all. They are Free for Lodges guests and at Rs 100 incl. Vat per player for our day guests.

Trekking & Canyoning

Discover the wonders of the 7 Cascades

With its 11 waterfalls and 13 abseils, deep ponds, cliff jumps and surrounding lush green vegetation, The Tamarind Falls 7 cascades represent one of the most spectacular natural sites of Mauritius.

7 Cascades also commonly known as Tamarind Falls is located near the small village of Henrietta, on the highlands West of Mauritius and Its source originates from Rivière Tamarin. The 7 Cascades has a total height of 293 meters/961 feet and is therefore the highest waterfall in Mauritius. You can find a variety of exotic plants and birds in this calm and enchanted venue. Furthermore, part of the water is being used for generating hydroelectric power. There are a lot of activities you can do at 7 Cascades. You can choose to go hiking or spend a full or a half day canyoning. It is recommended to get a guide who will help you during the hike as there are not many clear trails to follow. At some points the hike may be quite challenging, but it will be worth the efforts. Bird watchers and nature lovers will enjoy the hike to these waterfalls.

HIKING, TREKKING OR CANYONING

Duration:

Trekking - 3 or 5 or 7 Falls: 3 - 6Hrs
Canyoning: Half Day or Full Day.

Conditions:

• Activities are subject to availability of guides & weather conditions.
• Booking shall be made 2 days in advance.
• All activities are subject to a minimum of two persons and limited to a maximum of 12 persons.
• Our lodge package includes the above free activities during the guest stay. Our guide will be available for one activity per day. Any additional activity will be charged at its normal rate.

Notes & Recommendations:

• Bring water, Wear some comfortable hiking shoes, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and in case you want to go for a swim also bring bathing costumes, towels and a set of extra clothes. (Please note that shower facilities are available at the restaurant.)
• If you choose the full day canyoning package, our F&B team will be delighted to prepare a picnic basket upon orders (Please enquire for choices and rates).

We can also organise Archery, Blackbass Fishing, Tilapia Fishing & kayaking.
